Unlike Final Fantasy XI's crag teleportation, there seems to be a side effect from over use of this system and you will need to rest after a few teleportations.

It is not known if the flying machines seen in the trailer can be used as transport or if Chocobos will also carry a transportation method aswell when in need of quick transportation when you are unable to use a Aetheryte.
