| Wind is Diablos' weakness so it is a good idea to utilize magic such as Aero and, if you have it, GF Pandemona. Diablos has three main attacks, a normal physical attack that deals just over 200 damage, Demi which is a basic Gravity spell, and Gravija which takes 75% of your total HP. Demi and Gravija can not kill you but being at such a weak state his normal physical attack will be fatal.
Devote two characters to attacking him while the remaining character cures the party. You can switch these roles throughout battle. If you have not already done so, Junction Water (100) to Squall's weapon as this will make hes Renzokuken limit break extremely powerful. Just keep attacking with your most poweful moves but not Earth based moves and keep your HP above the 200 mark. It is only hard if you fight Diablos when you first receive the Magical Lamp. |
